Continuing Coach Education Programmes

CCE programmes are specialized, advanced coaching courses aimed for experienced and new coaches who work either as external or internal coaches, and wish to expand their expertise in different areas of coaching to be better equipped for their coaching practice. CCEs are also intended for coaches who would like to renew their ACC, PCC or MCC Credential. Our CCE programmes relate to expanding coaching competencies and/or focus on skills that complement coaching, like the use of coaching tools or topics related to personal growth.

Business Coaching

Coaches who want to work in the field of business coaching (supporting leaders within organization), welcome to join us at the 20-hour Business Coaching training.

There is an increasing need in the organisations for supporting leaders as the cornerstones of the development and success of the organisation in different ways, coaching being one of them. As business coaching has specific characteristics which are important to be considered when conducting a coaching session, additional training for an external coach is highly recommended.
The goal of Business Coaching is for the client to increase their awareness and become more conscious of their behavior, with the aim of being successful personally while also contributing to the success of the organization. This dual focus is a key difference between business coaching and other types of individual coaching.

The programme is designed for both experienced coaches and beginners who are expected to have completed a minimum of 60 coach-specific training hours and be familiar with the ICF Core Competencies.

The programme focuses on one-to-one business coaching delivered by external coaches. It covers the three main phases of business coaching: the input phase (e.g., partnering with the client and relevant stakeholders), the process phase (e.g., evoking self-awareness within the organisational context), and the output phase — providing framework for sustaining the client’s learning and growth after the completion of the business coaching engagement. The programme consists of 20 hours of experiential training in line with ICF Core Competencies.

Group Coaching

For coaches who already work in the field of group coaching or intend to do so, we have prepared the programme Group Coaching in Action.
Group coaching enables participants to achieve individual goals by creating a safe environment where they can openly share challenges, learn from one another, gain diverse perspectives, and experience both personal and professional growth. One of the most valuable benefits of group coaching is that it empowers group participants to take ownership of their outcomes.
Group coaching brings together individuals with shared personal or professional goals and helps them achieve these goals individually. Organisations use group coaching to support employees who are usually not members of the same team, however, they might have similar roles (e.g. they are all new leaders), want to develop common competencies (e.g. communication in challenging situations) or are experiencing similar situations (e.g. young parents returning to work after parents’ leave).
The programme is intended for experienced coaches who have completed at least 125 hours of coach specific training and want to transition from one-to-one to group coaching.
The programme Group Coaching in Action will help you answer open questions about working with a group and practising opportunities so that you as a coach can implement group coaching more easily and effectively. The programme consists of 40 hours of experiential training that addresses characteristics of group coaching, group coaching competencies, possible structures of group coaching, group dynamics and facilitation skills as applied in group coaching.

Team Coaching

For coaches who already work in the field of team coaching or intend to do so, we have prepared the programme Introduction to Team Coaching followed by Team Coaching in Action.
It is becoming increasingly clear that teams have greater potential than individuals to rise to the growing challenges facing organisations (Hawkins, 2017). Organisations are therefore using various approaches, such as team building, team facilitation, team mentoring and team coaching, to support teams in achieving excellent team results.
Team coaching focuses on team-based learning and development processes, considers the team to be a system and is thus applied collectively to the team as a whole. The goal of team coaching is to raise awareness of the team’s behavior patterns, strategies, beliefs and values, with the aim of achieving team success while at the same time contributing to the success of the organization. This systemic approach in conjunction with a dual focus is an important aspect that team coaches take into account when implementing team coaching.
Both programmes are intended for experienced coaches who have completed at least 125 hours of coach specific training and want to transition from one-to-one to team coaching in order to better meet the needs of organisations in today’s volatile, constantly changing world.

The programme Introduction to Team Coaching followed by Team Coaching in Action will help you answer open questions about working with a team and offer a structure as well as practising opportunities so that you as a coach can implement team coaching more easily and effectively. Each programme consists of 20 hours of experiential training in line with Team Coaching Competencies developed by ICF.

All our programmes are underpinned by our unique POSA methodology and overall structure. In collaboration with your organisation, we adapt them to your specific needs content-wise.

We also deliver ready-made leadership and organisational development programmes for ‘open groups’ that can be attended by one or a few participants from your organisation. They explore relevant issues and exchange their ideas with leaders from different organisations from around the world. For example, our programme ‘Leaders as Coaches’ is delivered both as a tailored-made training adapted to specific needs of your organisation and as a ready-made training for leaders from around the world.

Our programmes are of different length. As we believe in in-depth learning, they usually consist of four to six modules, each lasting from one to two days.
They are delivered in-person, online synchronously and also through a combination of both. Check further information for your chosen cohort for our ready-made programmes. Contact us for further information about tailored-made programmes.
